Overview We're looking to add new, experienced groomers as we expand our business! Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and grooming expertise will shine! We're looking to add new, experienced groomers as we expand our business! Your dedication to animal care, combined with excellent customer service skills, will create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. This is a commission based position in a quiet, one-on-one grooming salon where we prioritize quality over quantity. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall well-being to recommend appropriate grooming treatments or veterinary referrals if necessary Maintain a clean, organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and workspaces regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions Assist with pet handling during check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth customer experience Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming is required. Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain pets safely and compassionately Familiarity with pet grooming tools, pet sitting, kennel experience, and animal restraint methods Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move animals or equipment safely A genuine love for animals coupled with patience, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward pet care .
