  • Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong background in pet care. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Your role will also involve building relationships with pet owners, educating them on proper pet care, and maintaining a clean and organized grooming environment. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Handle animals with care and use proper animal restraint techniques to ensure their safety during grooming. Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, including tools and equipment, to ensure a hygienic environment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options. Educate pet owners on proper pet care practices, including brushing techniques and product recommendations. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of all animals in the facility. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming is required Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques and animal behavior. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus but not required. A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care to pets. Certification in pet grooming or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
