Pet Groomer - Hungry Hound Valparaiso, IN | Full-Time or Part-Time | Commission + Tips Hungry Hound is a locally owned pet boutique and grooming salon looking for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our Valparaiso team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, prioritizes the safety and comfort of every pet, and provides excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Bathe, dry, brush, and groom dogs of various breeds, sizes, and coat types Perform breed-specific and client-requested haircuts using clippers and shears Provide nail trims, de-shedding treatments, teeth brushing, facials, conditioning treatments, and other grooming add-ons Communicate clearly with pet parents about grooming requests, coat condition, and any concerns Maintain accurate grooming notes and client information Keep grooming areas, tools, and equipment clean and properly maintained Follow all safety, sanitation, and animal-handling procedures Work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail Cat grooming experience is a plus.
