- especially when working with excited, nervous, or challenging dogs Comfortable getting a bit dirty
- being hands on with animal care and cleaning is the job!
Job Duties:
Supervising and caring for dogs throughout the day Monitoring playgroups and paying close attention to behavior and body language Providing potty breaks Feeding and medicating dogs according to their individual schedule and instructions Keeping a close eye on dogs for signs of illness, injury, stress, or other changes in behavior Cleaning and sanitizing play areas, kennels, floors, bowls, toys, and other areas during the day Picking up a lot of pee and poop! Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility Communicating with teammates about the dogs, their needs, and anything important that comes up during the day Being friendly and professional to pet parents and fellow coworkers This is a very physical job- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, cleaning, and handling very strong and heavy dogs!
Pay:
From $11.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0- 40.
