The Farm at Flint Creek is growing, and we're looking for 2-3 experienced Pet Groomers to join our team! We're looking for groomers who are confident working independently, take pride in the quality of their work, and genuinely care about the dogs in their care. Our grooming department is part of a larger pet care facility offering daycare, boarding, and grooming, giving our team the opportunity to work together and provide a complete experience for our clients and their pets. What You'll Do Perform full-service grooming from start to finish, including bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, trimming, styling, sanitary trims, and nail care Complete breed-specific cuts, custom styling, and hand scissoring according to the pet's coat, breed, and owner preferences Consult with pet parents regarding grooming expectations, maintenance, coat care, and future appointments Evaluate coat and skin condition and communicate any concerns to pet parents Safely and confidently handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments Recognize signs of stress, anxiety, fear, or discomfort and adjust handling appropriately Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming area Properly clean and maintain grooming equipment Work closely with our daycare, boarding, and front desk teams to provide a seamless client experience Provide compassionate, professional care to every pet Assist with other pet care responsibilities when needed

What We're Looking For Required:

Professional pet grooming experience Ability to independently complete full grooms from start to finish Experience with breed-specific cuts, hand scissoring, and custom styling Strong knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and grooming requirements Confident handling dogs of varying sizes, breeds, temperaments, and behavior levels Strong customer service and communication skills Proficiency with professional grooming equipment, including clippers, blades, shears, dryers, and nail equipment Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or assist dogs as needed

Preferred:
