Full-time We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and passionate Pet Groomer to join our growing team! The ideal candidate has prior professional grooming experience, can confidently complete breed-specific and custom cuts independently, and is committed to providing exceptional care and service to both pets and their owners. If you take pride in producing quality grooms, building relationships with clients, and creating a safe, positive experience for dogs, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, drying, trimming, styling, de-shedding treatments, sanitary trims, and nail care tailored to each pet's breed, coat condition, and owner preferences Complete full grooms independently while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming expectations, recommendations, maintenance schedules, and aftercare instructions Assess pets' coat and skin condition and identify concerns that may require owner attention Handle dogs with patience and compassion while prioritizing safety throughout the grooming process Monitor pets for signs of stress, anxiety, or discomfort and adjust handling techniques appropriately Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming workspace and equipment Work collaboratively with daycare, boarding, and front desk staff to ensure excellent overall client experience Assist with additional pet care tasks as needed
Qualifications & Requirements Required:
Professional grooming experience required (minimum 1-2+ years preferred) Ability to perform full grooms independently from start to finish Experience with breed-specific cuts, hand scissoring, and custom styling Strong understanding of dog breeds, coat types, and individual grooming needs Confident handling dogs of varying sizes, breeds, temperaments, and behavior levels Excellent customer service and communication skills Experience using grooming tools including clippers, blades, shears, dryers, and nail trimming equipment Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or assist dogs up to 50 pounds
Preferred:
