Our team focuses on keeping pets happy, safe, and healthy by ensuring our attendants are trained and interacting with pets all day long. Dog Daycare Boarding Attendant Job Description Canine Club at Falcon Valley is now hiring energetic and fun-loving humans who enjoy playing with animals! This job comes with part-time perks. We specifically need part time team members that can work daytime hours and/or after school hours during the week and have weekend and holiday availability. You'll work with friendly teammates in a supportive, happy work environment while participating in the following job duties: Animal Caretaking Ability to work attentively in a playroom and cover breaks for Daycare Guides Feeding and cleaning of all boarding guests' suites up to three times daily, including but not limited to, switching out bedding, filling/refilling water bowls, removing hair or messes, providing scheduled meals. Aware of environment always and consistently attend to any special needs pets including but not limited to dogs that need medications administered or have special feeding instructions/diets. Exercising guests by leash walking up to three times daily to allow time for relieving needs outdoors. Canine Club has zero-tolerance for mishandling of animals or using non-approved animal management methods Teamwork and Self-Accountability Ability to work cohesively with their team in a respectful and professional manner Effectively communicates both orally and written. Utilizes company tools to communicate relevant information daily to their supervisor Maintains a positive attitude and demeanor in all aspects of their position including room management and customer service. Maintains consistent time and attendance standards Follows company dress code guidelines for professional and safe standards. Scrub tops are provided, matching scrub pants are your responsibility. Is on time for scheduled shifts and in the case of an emergency calls in advance of their shift to allow time for proper coverage Takes their own development as a personal responsibility and uses mistakes or challenges as an opportunity to grow to a higher standard of performance Steward of Building Care and Cleanliness Continually monitor hallways, condos, suites for cleanliness, keep area free of messes by immediate and continual spot cleaning throughout the shift Perform daily cleaning assignments which may include, but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, and replacing water bowls Follow standard cleaning procedures including proper use of chemicals to ensure a safe environment for both people and animals Perform daily and weekly cleaning assignments including moving and sanitizing crates as well as cleaning the walls, floors and play equipment with sanitizing solutions
Receptionist:
Must be willing to be trained for both reception and kennel assistant/daycare attendant Assist with answering phones and replying to texts and e-mails Calling clinics for medical history for pets to stay in our care Be able to explain to pet parents what the requirements are and quote for them Be trainable in our software system to book appointments/locate pet and owner information Prepare necessary documents for incoming pets Qualifications Requirements for Doggy Day Care Team Member Customer service mentality Ability to close the building at 6:00 pm during the week and/or open the building at 7:00 am. Available to work up 20 - 35 hours per week, depending on availability Reliable transportation Ability to lift to 40 lbs and move around playroom equipment and crates, remove trash, carry supplies and possibly lift pets, as needed Ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. You will be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and contagious (zoonotic) diseases. Personal protective equipment is provided at no charge to minimize your exposure to these items. Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, bend repetitively, and use cleaning products to disinfect and sanitize the building Ability to move quickly throughout the building while maintaining your composure and keeping a smile on your face! Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
