Job Description

Previous grooming experience and a portfolio are required to be considered for this role. Are you passionate about working with animals? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of dogs, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their appearance. The Pet Groomer position is a commissioned based position.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims for various breeds of dogs and cats
  • Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, and recommend appropriate grooming techniques
  • Safely handle and restrain pets during grooming sessions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients' concerns and answering their questions
  • Maintain accurate records of each pet's grooming history
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or completion of a formal grooming program is
REQUIRED
to be considered for this role
  • Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs
  • Ability to safely handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
