We need a dog walker/pet sitter for 3-4 days per week. Typically days start around 8/9 and go until 4/5. Half days may be an option as well.
Duties include:
  • Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks
  • Follow specific instructions regarding routes, duration of walks, and any special requirements for each pet.
  • Monitor any pets for signs of distress or health issues during visits and report any concerns.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with pet owners It is helpful to have some background working or being around live animals but not a requirement. Other experience that could be helpful is:
  • Strong understanding of pet care and the needs of different dog breeds
  • Ability to handle and control dogs of various sizes and temperaments
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a professional manner This job requires reliable transportation to get from job to job.
You also need a smart phone with navigation to get around. It would be helpful to live in the Overland Park and/or Leawood area as well.
