Duties include:
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks
- Follow specific instructions regarding routes, duration of walks, and any special requirements for each pet.
- Monitor any pets for signs of distress or health issues during visits and report any concerns.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with pet owners It is helpful to have some background working or being around live animals but not a requirement. Other experience that could be helpful is:
- Strong understanding of pet care and the needs of different dog breeds
- Ability to handle and control dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a professional manner This job requires reliable transportation to get from job to job.
