This position is commission based, you will set your own prices. Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for dogs and other small pets. Handle animals with care, ensuring their safety and comfort through proper restraint techniques. Assess each pet's grooming needs based on breed standards, health status, and owner requests. Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and sanitize tools regularly to uphold hygiene standards. Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming procedures, aftercare instructions, and pet behavior. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related animal care roles. Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain dogs and other animals during grooming procedures. Ability to lift heavy objects such as large dogs or equipment safely and comfortably. Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners. Familiarity with pet sitting, animal care routines, and kennel operations is a plus. Passion for animals combined with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
