Mags & Moose Pet Resort is looking for dependable, hardworking dog lovers to join our team! We are a busy, fast-paced pet resort providing PlayCare, boarding, and grooming services. Our kennel team is responsible for making sure every dog in our care is safe, comfortable, clean, fed, hydrated, and loved. This job is absolutely about dogs—but it is not just playing with dogs. There is a lot of cleaning, walking, bending, lifting, laundry, poop-scooping, feeding, and moving throughout the day. What You'll Do Supervise and interact with dogs during PlayCare and boarding Feed dogs according to their individual instructions Provide fresh water throughout the day Assist with medications as directed Clean and sanitize dog rooms, play areas, floors, bowls, and equipment Pick up waste and keep indoor and outdoor areas clean Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry Prepare rooms with clean beds and blankets Safely move dogs between rooms and play areas Read and follow each dog's care instructions carefully Complete and initial required care cards and checklists Watch for changes in a dog's behavior, health, or comfort and communicate concerns immediately Help maintain a clean, organized, safe facility Who We're Looking For We can teach you our procedures. What we really need from you is reliability, attention to detail, honesty, and a strong work ethic. You should be comfortable working around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities and able to work independently while still being part of a team. This is an active position. You should be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, squat, clean, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and safely handle dogs. Scheduling Mags & Moose is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year , because the dogs staying with us still need care on weekends and holidays. Weekend availability is required for some shifts, although that does not mean working every weekend. Holiday availability is especially appreciated and may include additional incentives or bonuses. We work hard to accommodate requested time off and employee availability. Once a schedule is posted, however, employees are expected to be dependable and responsible for their scheduled shifts. Pay:
