Job Overview Join our pet sitting team as a Dog Walker and Pet Sitter, where your passion for animals and energetic spirit will shine! In this role, you'll provide exceptional care and exercise for dogs of all breeds and sizes, ensuring they stay happy, healthy, and well-loved. You'll also offer reliable pet sitting services for a variety of animals, including cats and other small pets, in their homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on pets' lives while building strong relationships with pet owners. Your enthusiasm, animal handling skills, and dedication will help create a safe and joyful environment for every furry friend you care for. Responsibilities Take dogs on daily walks, ensuring they receive proper exercise tailored to their energy levels and breed needs Provide pet sitting services in clients' homes or in your own, caring for animals' daily routines including feeding, administering medication if needed, and companionship Maintain animal safety through attentive supervision during outdoor activities Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' behavior, health status, and any concerns that arise during visits Handle animals with patience and confidence, demonstrating skills in animal behavior recognition and animal handling techniques Experience At least 5 years of previous dog handling experience with various breeds and sizes is highly preferred Veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is a strong plus Experience working with cats and other small animals Customer service skills to build trustful relationships with pet owners and address their needs effectively Outdoor work experience to handle diverse environments confidently and safely Tech savvy to work in pet sitting app to communicate with pet owners and company office Requirements You must be at least 21 years old You must live within 10 miles of Simpsonville, Kentucky You must be available for at least 10 pet sitting/dog walking visits pet week for various pet owner requests Join us to turn your love of animals into a rewarding position where every day brings new adventures! Pay:
$280.00 - $575.00 per week
