Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including brushing, trimming, and styling of various dog breeds according to owner preferences and breed standards Handle dogs safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat styling to promote overall health and hygiene Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitation of tools and work areas to uphold health standards Assist with pet handling during check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners Support additional animal care activities such as kennel cleaning and contribute to overall facility operations Skills Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods for safe grooming practices Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger dogs or equipment Familiarity with animal handling protocols across various species such as equine or companion animals is a plus Excellent customer service skills to ensure a welcoming environment and foster client loyalty Join us if you're passionate about animals, eager to develop your grooming expertise, and ready to make a positive impact on pets' lives!
