Job Summary Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Daycare Attendant, where your enthusiasm and love for animals will create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for supervising playtime, ensuring proper animal handling, and providing exceptional pet care that promotes happiness and well-being. Your dedication will help foster a positive experience for both dogs and their owners, making every day rewarding and lively. •Must be able to work week of August 17th - 21st.•Must be able to work holidays! Responsibilities Supervise dogs during play sessions, ensuring safe interactions and preventing conflicts through attentive animal handling and restraint techniques Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and socialization skills Monitor dogs' health and behavior, alerting supervisors to any concerns or signs of distress Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including pet grooming areas, kennels, and play zones to ensure a hygienic environment Provide pet sitting services when needed, including feeding, walking, and administering medication under supervision Engage with pet owners to communicate updates Perform heavy lifting tasks such as assisting with larger dogs safely and efficiently Experience Prior experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary clinic, or pet sitting environment is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a strong asset Hands-on experience with pet grooming, animal handling, and restraint methods is desirable Customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking Background in veterinary assistant work or veterinary technician experience is advantageous but not required Join us in creating a lively, caring atmosphere where pets thrive!
