Responsibilities Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling of various dog breeds and sizes. Safely handle animals during grooming procedures using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety. Maintain high standards of pet coat styling, ensuring each pet's grooming needs are met with precision and care. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide updates on their pet's condition. Assist with animal handling tasks such as pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and basic veterinary-related care when needed. Support pet care activities including animal restraint, cleaning grooming tools, and maintaining a clean work environment. Engage in heavy lifting when necessary to manage larger animals or equipment safely. Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is preferred; certification in pet grooming is a plus. No experience necessary if applying for bather position, just attention to detail and comfor Handling dogs of all breeds. Will train. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members. Ability to handle multiple animals safely while providing excellent customer service heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during grooming sessions.
