Job Description

Seeking Professional Dog Groomer! The S'Paw at Wishbones is seeking an experienced Professional Dog Groomer for our salon in Hanover, MA. This is a commission-based position and expected earnings are based on groomer drive, schedule appointments, services performed, and client demand. Our skilled groomers are responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while delivering a positive client and pet experience. We are seeking candidates with safe handling, strong technical grooming skills, attention to detail, professional communication with clients and truly have a love of animals and taking care of them.
Responsibilities include:
Performing full-service grooming appointments for dogs of varying breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments Grooming to breed profile and/or client request Bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, shaving, scissoring, and de-shedding as needed Communicating with clients regarding grooming requests, pet condition, and recommended services Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized grooming workspace Handling pets safely, calmly, and compassionately Following company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation standards Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of professional dog grooming experience. Strong scissoring skills, de-shedding experience, and the ability to groom to breed profile are required. Candidates must be comfortable working with dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
