Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each pet's health condition, noting any signs of veterinary concern or skin issues, and communicate findings to pet owners or veterinary staff as needed Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, workstations, and bathing areas to uphold hygiene standards Provide excellent customer service by addressing pet owner questions, offering grooming recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience Assist with pet handling during appointments, ensuring animals are calm and comfortable throughout the process Support other team members with animal care tasks such as kennel cleaning or pet sitting when required Experience Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a strong asset Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles enhances understanding of animal health needs Experience with animal restraint, pet care, and general kennel duties is beneficial Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects safely (heavy lifting) when handling large dogs or equipment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Familiarity with pet sitting or animal care environments adds value to the role Embark on a rewarding career where your love for animals makes a difference!
