Responsibilities Perform pet coat styling, trimming, bathing, and drying to meet breed standards and customer preferences Handle dogs safely using animal restraint techniques to ensure both pet and groomer safety Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming procedures with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests and provide after-care advice Assist with animal handling during grooming sessions, ensuring comfort and stress reduction for pets Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and work area to uphold hygiene standards Support pet care routines such as brushing, de-shedding, and basic health assessments during grooming visits Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, including dog handling and animal care techniques Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician/assistant experience is a plus Skills in dog training, animal restraint, and animal handling to manage diverse breeds confidently Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners about grooming needs and pet health Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for bathing tubs or equipment setup Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and animal restraint methods Customer service mindset with a genuine love for animals and their well-being Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
