Responsibilities Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime, ensuring safe and positive socialization experiences Assist with pet boarding, feeding, administering medications, and maintaining detailed care records Handle animal restraint and behavior management to promote safety for pets and staff alike Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and grooming stations through regular sanitization and organization Support pet grooming activities including bathing, brushing, and basic trimming as needed Conduct outdoor walks and supervise outdoor activities to promote exercise and mental stimulation Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and behaviors Skills Experience with veterinary procedures or as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly valued Prior pet sitting or kennel experience demonstrating responsible animal care Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior understanding Strong animal handling skills including pet restraint, dog handling, and general animal care expertise Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, team lifting, and outdoor work comfortably Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to maintain cleanliness standards for pet care facility sanitization and grooming areas This role is perfect for passionate animal lovers eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to pet wellness.
