Responsibilities Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures Perform pet bathing, coat styling, pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming services with precision and care Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and workspaces regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and after-care recommendations Assist with pet handling during grooming to ensure animals are calm and secure throughout the process Support pet care activities such as brushing, drying, and checking for skin or health issues that may require veterinary attention Heavy lifting of pets or equipment as needed to facilitate grooming tasks Qualifications Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician/assistant experience is a plus Familiarity with dog training techniques and animal restraint methods Strong communication skills to interact confidently with pet owners and team members Ability to perform detailed pet coat styling and pet nail trimming with precision Experience in animal handling, including companion animals like dogs of various breeds and sizes Physical capability to lift heavy pets or equipment safely during grooming routines Customer service skills to ensure a welcoming environment for clients and their pets Join us in creating happy, healthy pets through expert grooming and compassionate care!
