Job Description

Camp K9 Training & Daycare is looking for a hard working dog lover to join our awesome team as a day camp counselor! Employees must be motivated, trustworthy, and willing to learn. This is a dynamic job that involves supervising groups of dogs in play while actively working to improve the behavior of each dog in our care. We are very proactive with our dogs and keep busy throughout the camp day. Final schedule once fully trained may include dog walking, pet sitting, and assisting dog trainers with group exercises with our camp dogs. We are a positive reinforcement business run by dog trainers, so extensive job training will be invested in the right candidate and future apprenticeship opportunities may become available!
Applicants must:
be 18 years or older have a drivers license and safe driving record. Must be comfortable driving a mini van in various weather conditions to pick up and drop off dogs from their homes be comfortable working outdoors in a farm like setting year round in all weather be able to stand, bend, and lift for 4-6 hours each day be open to learning our rules and routines for interacting with and training dogs love dogs and all the dirt and slobber that comes with them! initial schedule will be part-time (2-3 days per week) with the option to increase hours and take on commission based work once fully trained
