Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Dog Walker and unleash your passion for animals! In this lively role, you will provide energetic and caring walks for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring they enjoy safe, stimulating outings that promote their health and happiness. This position offers flexible hours perfect for animal lovers eager to make a positive impact in their community while gaining valuable experience in pet care. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help strengthen the bond between pets and their owners, making every walk a joyful adventure. Please note this is a 1099 position, any questions are welcome. Duties Lead engaging and safe walks with dogs of various breeds, sizes, and energy levels, ensuring proper handling and supervision at all times Observe and respond to dogs' behavior during walks, applying dog training techniques to promote good manners and safety Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning up after dogs during outings, wiping paws when its raining, etc. Communicate effectively with management or pet parents when needed regarding their pets' behavior, health, or special needs Assist with pet sitting duties when needed, providing companionship and basic care in clients' homes Follow all safety protocols related to animal handling Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license and reliable form of transportation Prior experience with dog walking, pet sitting, or animal care is highly desirable Strong animal handling skills with the ability to manage dogs safely during walks and other activities Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for transporting if needed Embark on a rewarding journey where your love for animals makes a real difference!
