About us Digging My Walks! is a professional Wilmington based dog walking and pet sitting business servicing Wilmington and its immediate surrounding communities. We love dogs and put them and their needs first. Our mission is to give pets the exercise they need for both physical and mental health so they can live longer, healthier and happier lives. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dog Walker to join our team. This individual will start on an as needed basis to fill in when current walkers are unavailable with the opportunity to increase to a more regular schedule as the needs of our business grow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and enjoy spending time outdoors while providing excellent care for dogs and other pets. Dog walking hours are typically between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday through Friday, ideal for a stay at home mom who would like additional spending money. Hours vary day to day, but the candiate must be available to step in when necessary during those hours. Walks are typically a half-hour in length. Fresh water and a treat are given at the end of each walk, followed by a client summary detailing the walk and accompanied by photos. Duties

• Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in all weather conditions
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each dog in your care
• Provide exercise, playtime, and companionship for the dogs
• Follow specific instructions regarding each dog's care and behavior
• Maintain cleanliness during walks and dispose of waste properly Qualifications
• Strong desire to work with animals
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Knowledge of basic pet care practices
• Physical ability to walk for extended periods and perform heavy lifting when necessary
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license
• Own a smartphone (ability to text, download apps, and take photos)
• Own or have access to an insured vehicle and be willing to transport dogs in it
• Able to work independently, motivated, have good communication skills, and be flexible
• Must live within close proximity of Wilmington, Massachusetts
• Must be able to work during the day, typically between the hours of 9am-2pm
