Are you an experienced groomer, salon owner, or mobile grooming business owner looking for a way to earn some extra income while helping develop the next generation of professional groomers? Woofie's of Annapolis is looking for an experienced Grooming Mentor to provide hands-on coaching, guidance, and professional development to our grooming team. This is a flexible opportunity designed for someone who has built a successful career in grooming and enjoys teaching, coaching, and sharing what they've learned with others. No Driving Required You do not need to drive one of our grooming vans to serve as a mentor. Mentoring sessions can take place at: Our headquarters location Your own salon or grooming facility Another mutually agreed-upon location We are flexible and want to create a mentoring arrangement that works well for both you and our grooming team. What You'll Do Mentor and coach developing groomers on grooming techniques, safety, pet handling, and best practices Provide hands-on instruction and constructive feedback Help groomers improve their confidence, consistency, and efficiency Share your experience with different breeds, coat types, grooming styles, and challenging situations Help groomers develop their technical and professional skills Provide guidance on safe and compassionate pet handling Identify opportunities for improvement and help create practical development plans Serve as an experienced resource and sounding board for our grooming team Who We're Looking For You could be a great fit if you are: An experienced professional groomer A salon owner, mobile grooming owner, grooming manager, or senior groomer Passionate about teaching and developing other groomers Patient, positive, and encouraging Comfortable providing constructive feedback Experienced working with a variety of breeds and coat types Committed to safety, quality, and compassionate pet care Why Become a Grooming Mentor?
