- We are seeking an experienced Animal Care Technician II to join our Insourcing Solutions team, located in Bethesda, MD.
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Perform daily water bottle and cage checks, cage changing and/or cage cleaning as required; provide food and water; and record health concerns. + Maintain accurate records of animal breeding, housing, or support areas. + Receive, inspect, and house incoming animals. + Assist with restraint, handling, and manipulation of various animal species. + May become involved in breeding and weaning procedures. + Monitor personnel and equipment entry into various rooms. + Operate required equipment and perform general housekeeping.- Job Description
- The following are minimum requirements related to the Animal Care Technician II position: + high school diploma or general education degree + minimum one year's experience performing basic animal care + ALAT eligibility required, ALAT certification preferred The pay range for this position is $23.
