Job Description

Molly's Dog Care is looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate team members to join our team! This is a fully cross-trained position . Team members will be trained to work both front desk/customer service and hands-on daycare/dog care responsibilities. Depending on the needs of the business, you may work at the front desk during one shift and directly with the dogs in daycare during another. We are looking for team players who are flexible, reliable, love working with dogs, provide excellent customer service, and are willing to jump in wherever needed. Key Responsibilities Daycare & Dog Care Supervise groups of dogs during daycare and ensure a safe, positive environment. Monitor dog behavior, body language, and interactions and communicate any concerns to management. Maintain a safe and clean play environment throughout the shift. Prepare and serve meals according to Pet Parent instructions. Administer medications according to provided instructions and company procedures. Walk dogs and safely move dogs throughout the facility. Complete routine and deep cleaning of daycare areas, boarding areas, kennels, yards, and other spaces. Follow all safety, sanitation, and dog-handling procedures. Front Desk & Customer Service Provide exceptional customer service to Pet Parents during check-in and check-out. Answer phone calls, emails, and customer messages promptly and professionally. Process transactions and assist with reservations and customer accounts. Communicate important information about each dog's health, behavior, feeding, medications, and overall experience. Create and send report cards and updates to Pet Parents. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby. Grooming & Additional Support Assist with bath and brush grooming services as needed. Help maintain clean and organized grooming areas. Support other areas of the facility whenever needed to keep operations running smoothly. What We're Looking For A genuine love for dogs and commitment to providing exceptional care. Comfortable working hands-on with dogs of different breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Comfortable supervising groups of dogs in a daycare environment. Willing and able to perform cleaning duties throughout every shift. Comfortable performing basic bath and brush grooming services. Able to remain calm and attentive in a busy, fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have a reliable working cell phone. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position , not solely a front desk role. Team members must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, bending, cleaning, handling dogs, and working in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
