Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services to our clients. Your expertise in pet care and grooming techniques will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers and their furry companions. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, providing recommendations for appropriate grooming treatments. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observed health concerns. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their questions or concerns. Handle animals safely and humanely, using proper restraint techniques when necessary. Assist in the care of animals in the facility, including feeding, walking, and monitoring their behavior. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary assistance or animal care is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs is essential. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming sessions. Experience in pet care roles such as kennel attendant or pet sitter is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is crucial.
