The ideal candidate enjoys working with animals, delivers excellent customer service, and takes pride in creating a safe, comfortable grooming experience for every pet. Responsibilities Perform professional grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, trimming, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and sanitary trims. Evaluate each pet's coat, skin, temperament, and grooming needs before beginning services. Safely handle pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming environment. Monitor pets throughout the grooming process and prioritize their safety and comfort. Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming recommendations, concerns, and aftercare. Manage appointments and maintain accurate service records. Safely operate and maintain mobile grooming equipment and supplies. Follow appropriate sanitation, animal-handling, and safety procedures. Provide a friendly, professional experience that encourages repeat customers and referrals. Qualifications Previous professional pet grooming experience preferred. Grooming certification or formal training is a plus. Strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques and coat types. Comfortable handling dogs and/or cats of varying sizes and temperaments. Excellent animal-handling and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Physically able to stand for extended periods and safely lift or handle pets when necessary. Valid driver's license and safe driving record Must be comfortable working in a mobile, customer-facing environment.
