Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Retreat Staff member to join our team, with responsibilities spanning cleaning, customer service, and dog walking. This role involves maintaining a clean and welcoming environment at our retreat facility, providing attentive customer service, and caring for dogs through regular walks. The position offers a split shift schedule, including morning kennel cleaning and evening duties, ensuring the comfort and safety of both guests and animals. Responsibilities Clean dog kennels thoroughly for approximately three hours each morning, ensuring sanitation and hygiene standards are met. Perform routine cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment, including floor cleaning and sanitation of common areas. Maintain cleanliness of the retreat environment by utilizing proper cleaning equipment and techniques. Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing their needs professionally and courteously. Assist with manual handling tasks related to cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct dog walking sessions in the evening for about two hours, ensuring animals are exercised safely and responsibly. Support the overall upkeep of the retreat facility to create a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere for visitors and their pets. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail in sanitation and cleanliness standards. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a flexible schedule. Physical stamina to handle manual cleaning tasks and dog walking activities. Reliability and punctuality are essential for adhering to the split shift schedule. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
