Duties Monitoring playtime and behavior Ensure that all dogs have access to clean water at all times Feed dogs according to their specific needs and instructions Cleaning up after dogs Cleaning play area and kennels Assist with basic training and/or behavior reinforcement Maintain daily records of dog's activities and behaviors
Key Accountabilities:
Must be comfortable and confident handling dogs of all ages and breeds Display the ability to respond quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Must be hard-working, responsible, and detail-oriented Possess the ability to focus on successes, while maintaining a fun, safe, and secure environment Strong customer service skills Excellent communication skills Dependability/Reliability Qualifications At least 1 year of prior dog handling experience (preferred) Desire for personal and career development Work availability Monday through Friday 18 years or older Openness to learn Love of animals Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds Efficient communication Daycare Schedule Weekdays Monday - Friday 8 am - 6 pm Job Types Full-time, Part-time Pay Up to $18.50 per hour Work Location 5000 Nicholson Court, Kensington, MD 20895
Pay:
$16.50 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
