SENIOR GROOMING MANAGER

Build & Lead Our Grooming Department Rockville, MD Full-Time $100,000 Guaranteed First-Year Earnings

• DogiZone is Rockville's premier dog resort — 18,000 square feet of boarding, daycare, training, and grooming, built over 20 years. We're expanding, and grooming is the next department to scale. We're hiring a Senior Grooming Manager to own the department: rebuild it into a flagship operation, then help design it for multi-location replication as DogiZone grows. You'll set standards, build and mentor the team, and sit on the executive leadership team shaping that growth. This is a leadership seat, not a chair behind the table.

The Opportunity Leadership & Strategy:

Design, establish, and oversee the end-to-end strategy for our grooming department.

Department Growth:

Lead hands-on during initial rollout, transitioning into full department management as the team scales.

Talent Development:

Spearhead DogiZone's new Groomer Apprenticeship Program to cultivate high-caliber professionals.

Scalable Framework:

Develop the operational and training model for subsequent salon launches over the next three years. This role offers a key strategic position for a forward-thinking leader driven to build a lasting legacy.

What You'll Be Doing Core Standards:

Perform high-level grooming services while setting gold-standard technical and service quality across the team.

Mentorship & Coaching:

Train, evaluate, and inspire staff groomers and apprentices to maintain service excellence.

Operations Management:

Oversee scheduling, client relations, performance metrics, and daily departmental management.

Apprenticeship Ownership:

Manage the candidate selection, curriculum delivery, and skill evaluation for apprentices.

Culture & Professionalism:
