We are quickly growing as Dawgs and Paws has added mobile grooming to the brand . As a bather, you play a crucial part within our organization, building trust, and providing the foundation for a great groom. With exceptional prep work, comes beautiful groooms. We are looking for someone who wholly understands this and is committed to it. This is a great opportunity for an animal lover with an interest in a long term career within the pet care industry. Paid Time Off Responsibilities:

Thoroughly bathe dogs in preparation for grooming Deshedding dogs to remove excess fur using deshedding tools. Ability to identify matting and de-mat as needed Handle general grooming tasks such nail trimming, filing, gland expression, and teeth brushing Ability to use hand-held high velocity dryers while handling dogs Possess top quality customer service through positive attitude and efficient communication Ensure bathing areas are sanitized and supplemented with needed supplies Maintain bathing area/grooming area tidy at all times Clean up after dogs who cause accidents Engage in daily duties along with team members to ensure bathing/daycare areas are clean and sanitized. Ability to collaborate in a team environment Protecting the best interests of our customers and their pets by notifying groomers of any concerns, including skin abnormalites, ear infections, ticks and fleas.

Qualifications:

1 year of prior bathing experience preferred Ability to handle dogs of all temperaments and sizes with confidence Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
