Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Dog Daycare Manager to lead our vibrant pet care team and ensure a safe, engaging, and loving environment for dogs in our care. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate pet activities, and maintain high standards of animal welfare and customer service. Responsibilities Supervise daily dog daycare activities, ensuring all dogs are engaged, safe, and well-cared for throughout the day Lead and motivate a team of pet care associates, providing training on dog handling, animal restraint, cleaning protocols, and customer service excellence Oversee pet intake and departure procedures, verifying health records and ensuring proper identification Monitor dog behavior continuously to identify signs of stress or aggression; implement appropriate handling techniques Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of the facility, including kennels, play areas, grooming stations, and outdoor spaces in accordance with health standards Coordinate pet boarding services, including feeding schedules, medication administration if needed, and activity planning Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs, behavior updates, and any concerns that arise Qualifications Proven experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, veterinary technician roles, pet sitting, or kennel environments Strong knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management Experience with animal handling tools such as leashes, harnesses, and restraint devices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or assisting with outdoor work tasks Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners and visitors Familiarity with pet grooming practices and sanitation procedures within pet care facilities Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Join us in creating a lively and compassionate environment where dogs thrive!
