Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, and styling to meet client specifications and breed standards Handle dogs safely and compassionately using proper animal restraint techniques Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide grooming advice Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times Conduct pet nail trimming and ear cleaning as part of comprehensive grooming care Support pet care routines such as coat conditioning, de-matting, and brushing to promote healthy skin and fur Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields such as veterinary technician or assistant roles is highly preferred Knowledge of dog handling, animal restraint, and pet coat styling techniques On the job training Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally Ability to lift heavy pets safely and perform physical tasks involved in heavy lifting during grooming sessions Familiarity with kennel experience, pet sitting, or animal handling in various settings enhances your suitability for this role Passion for animals combined with excellent customer service skills ensures a positive experience for both pets and owners Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
