Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Experienced Dog Daycare Attendants to join our dynamic team.
Core Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor dog playgroups, ensuring safety and engagement. Facilitate enrichment activities and individual/group play to stimulate dogs mentally and physically. Build strong relationships with dogs, understanding their behaviors and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment, including regular cleaning of kennels and common areas. Assist with client interactions, checking dogs in/out, and addressing any concerns. Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in dog behavior and positive reinforcement. Assist with feeding dogs and taking them on walks to meet their physical needs
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in dog care, preferably in daycare, boarding, or training environments, is required. Job seekers who can follow safety protocols are encouraged to apply. A passion for dog welfare and a commitment to a fear-free approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. A positive, friendly demeanor and a willingness to learn and grow. Confidence in handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including dogs over 100 pounds
Work Environment:
This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions. The environment can be noisy and requires close interaction with dogs at all times. Physical activity is essential, including walking dogs, cleaning, and possibly lifting up to 50 pounds.
Schedule:
We are currently hiring for both part-time and full-time employees Shifts are available from 8 AM to 4 PM and 9 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings is required. As a boarding facility, we are open 365 days per year.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive pay starting at $19 per hour. Based on performance, certification, tenure, and experience, staff may earn up to $22 per hour. $760 to $3000 a month (depending upon p/t or f/t schedule) 401(k) plan eligibility and health insurance for full-time employees.
