Responsibilities Assist with the daily care of animals including feeding, watering, cleaning kennels, and monitoring health status Handle dogs and other animals with gentle restraint techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff Support kennel staff in nail clipppng, weigh ins and grooming procedures Maintain cleanliness of animal enclosures, common areas, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Provide companionship and basic training to animals to promote good behavior and reduce stress Assist with pet sitting duties for clients' animals, ensuring their comfort during their stay Perform outdoor work such as walking dogs, cleaning outdoor kennels, and supervising exercise sessions Requirements Previous experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, pet care facilities, or similar environments is highly preferred Strong dog handling skills and familiarity with animal restraint techniques Knowledge of animal behavior, welfare practices, and pet grooming is advantageous Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Physical stamina for outdoor work, walking dogs, cleaning kennels, and standing for extended periods A genuine passion for animal care combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and cleanliness Join us in creating a safe haven where every pet receives compassionate care!
