Front Desk Associate Dogtopia is a leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services. Job Description As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient experience for both pets and their parents.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate pet files, including appropriate notations and updates. Manage front desk operations efficiently to support smooth daily activities. Handle appointment requests, check-ins, and check-outs. Review and verify vaccination records to ensure pets meet required vaccination standards. Respond to emails and other client communications in a timely and professional manner.
Client Interaction:
Greet pet parents warmly and professionally. Answer incoming phone calls and assist both current and prospective clients with professionalism and compassion. Provide knowledgeable and courteous customer service while addressing client questions and needs.
Pet Care & Environment:
Help create and maintain a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for daycare and boarding dogs. Safely escort dogs to and from the playrooms. Periodically check playrooms as an additional set of eyes to support the safety and well-being of the dogs. Follow established safety and pet-handling procedures.
Facility Maintenance:
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility. Perform cleaning duties as needed throughout the facility. Ensure the front desk and common areas remain clean, organized, and presentable. Qualifications Prior front desk or customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Friendly, professional, and positive attitude. Prior experience working with animals is preferred. Ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple responsibilities. Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable and dependable with the ability to work as part of a team.
Shifts:
We are currently looking to fill 2-4 weekday morning shifts, primarily Monday through Thursday. Occasional PM, Friday, or weekend coverage may be requested to accommodate team member time-off requests; however, these instances are few and far between.
Weekdays:
6:15 AM•1:00 PM 1:00 PM•7:45
PM Weekends:
8:30 AM•5:30 PM This will be a part-time position ranging from approximately 14-28 hours/week.
Major Holidays Off:
Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
