Interviews are 10 minutes of a dog breed and behavior quiz, 20 minutes of Q&A and 40 minutes of dog engagement. Please dress casual. Please wear closed toe shoes. No jewelry. Phones are NOT allowed on the quiz and interviewees using their phone will be immediately dismissed. We have part-time positions available. 20-30 hours a week on average. Shifts can range from 7am - 7pm.

Weekends:

2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) a month are required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Give dogs food and water throughout the day Handle bathing and grooming tasks Clean and maintain kennels, keeping them free of waste, fur/hair, and other unsanitary or hazardous materials Supervise play areas to ensure pet safety Perform light receptionist duties, such as answering phones and emails Clean dog and cat overnight rooms during guests stay and after they leave Food prep for overnight guests Cat care including feedings/litter scooping/and extra TLC Wash dishes Laundry Attend meetings and trainings to be informed on the latest procedures and dog safety Vacuum/wash play room floors following daycare Spray down outdoor turf in play areas Maintain pet CPR certification Assist with taking dogs to and from daycare to clients at pick-up and drop-off

The other half is janitorial and cleaning. Are you prepared and willing to clean up any and all messes at the facility to ensure a sanitary space for the animals in our care? Cleaning up poop, vomit, and slobber are part of the job. Are you available on Sundays and Saturdays?

Please note:

Playful Paws is in the service industry and all applicants would need to have weekend availability a minimum of 2 weekends a month! Do not interview if you cannot work Sunday and Saturdays.
