Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and de-shedding to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming sessions Assess each dog's coat condition, skin health, and temperament to tailor grooming procedures accordingly Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by sanitizing tools, and grooming stations regularly Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills to manage dogs of various temperaments Familiarity with animal restraint methods and pet care best practices to ensure safety for pets and staff Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners
