Job Description

BATHING TECHNICIAN
Furbabies Grooming | Midland, MI We're looking for the right person — not just someone looking for a job. Furbabies is busy, fast-paced, fun, and definitely not your typical grooming salon. We take what we do seriously, but we don't believe work has to be miserable. We want people who like animals, like people, work hard, can laugh, take feedback, and actually want to get better. No grooming experience is necessary. Experience with dogs, bathing, grooming, animal care or fast-paced work is a plus — but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter most. What you'll actually be doing : This isn't just "washing dogs." You'll be: Bathing and drying dogs of all sizes and coat types. Brushing and de-shedding. Learning safe dog handling. Keeping dogs calm, safe, and comfortable. Cleaning kennels, tubs, tables, and floors. Doing laundry and restocking supplies. Helping keep the salon organized and moving. Assisting with phones and check-in/check-out when needed. Working with groomers and learning how a real grooming salon runs. You'll learn as you go — we don't expect you to know everything on day one. The person we're looking for : You don't need to be perfect. You just need to be reliable. What matters most to us Safety. Reliability. Communication. Teamwork. Growth. Dogs always come first. And yes — there is room to grow! Grooming, creative, management, social media are all possibilities. If you want to work hard, learn, and be part of a solid team — we'd love to meet you!
