Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling coats to meet breed standards and owner preferences Handle dogs with care and confidence, utilizing animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene procedures to promote health and comfort Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, preferences, and aftercare instructions Maintain a clean, organized grooming station while adhering to health and safety protocols Assist with pet training or behavioral guidance as needed to facilitate grooming sessions Support pet care activities such as feeding or administering medications if required by owners or veterinary staff Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods to ensure safe grooming sessions Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and overall pet hygiene practices Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners clearly and professionally Ability to lift heavy objects such as grooming equipment or large dogs safely and comfortably Exceptional animal handling skills combined with patience, compassion, and attention to detail Join us in creating a welcoming environment where pets feel loved and cared for!
