Job Responsibilities & Duties:
Be confident and comfortable with dogs Responsible for proper husbandry care of all boarded animals, including feeding, watering, bathing, record keeping, and the overall cleanliness of kennels, and cages. Complete daily cleaning routines in a timely manner, maintaining assigned areas in a clean, organized, and professional manner. Clean and disinfect kennels and dispose of animal waste. Learn and follow infection control procedures for potential or known illnesses. Monitor the health of animals; follow established procedures if symptoms of illness arise. Attentiveness and detail orientated is required! You must be able to immediately respond to any conflicts and notice any signs that the dogs in your care are sick or in distress. Patience is a must! We require people who can manage dog behavior using positive reinforcement techniques. Ability to work cohesively with a team in both a respectful and professional manner. Remain in compliance with all policies, including attendance, dress code standards, and punctuality. Takes their own development as a personal responsibility and uses mistakes or challenges as an opportunity to grow to a higher standard of performance.
