Full-Time/Part-Time / Commission-Based Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, independent, and dedicated Dog Groomer to join our team. This role offers high schedule flexibility on set operational days, ideal for an established professional looking to manage their own workflow. You will provide high-quality grooming services, manage client communications, and deliver safe, compassionate care—even when handling nervous or behaviorally challenging dogs. Key Responsibilities Perform complete grooming services, including bathing, drying, haircutting, nail trimming, and ear cleaning, customized to breed standards or client preferences. Safely handle and manage dogs with varying temperaments, including nervous, high-energy, or challenging behavior cases. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe grooming workspace. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with owners regarding grooming needs, special requests, and pet behavior updates. Work independently to manage daily appointment schedules and client intake/checkout.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Proven professional dog grooming experience required.
Equipment:
Must provide your own professional grooming tools (clippers, blades, shears, brushes, etc.).
Behavior Handling:
Demonstrated ability to safely handle and groom anxious or challenging dogs with patience and care.
Skills:
Strong customer service, communication, and time-management skills; self-motivated to work independently without constant supervision.
Schedule & Compensation Work Days:
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Flexible Hours:
Set your own working hours within the available operational days.
Pay Structure:
