Job Description

Overview ​We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Grooming Salon Manager to lead our salon team. In this role, you will oversee daily salon operations, manage a team of talented pet groomers and bathers, maintain top-tier safety and sanitation standards, and deliver exceptional service to our four-legged clients and their parents. ​This position offers a 4-day work schedule with longer, 10-hour shifts, giving you 3 full days off every week to maintain a great work-life balance while managing a thriving salon. ​ Key Responsibilities ​provide support and mentorship to the bathers and pet stylist. Inspect groomed pets to ensure work meets company quality, safety, and breed-standard guidelines. Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and maintain high team morale and retention. ​Daily Operations & Safety ​
Safety & Sanitation:
Enforce strict animal handling, sanitation, and equipment maintenance protocols to ensure a clean, stress-free environment for pets and staff. ​
Incident Management:
Handle any pet care incidents or injuries calmly, following emergency protocols and maintaining transparent communication. ​ Client Service & Sales Growth ​
Customer Service:
Greeting clients, conducting pet assessments during check-in, and addressing client feedback or concerns professionally. ​ ​Qualifications & Requirements ​
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of professional pet grooming experience and 1+ years in a supervisory or management role within a salon, veterinary clinic, or pet retail environment.
Pay:
commission based pay ​
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and maneuver dogs of all sizes (up to 35+ lbs) throughout a 10-hour shift. ​
Availability:
Ability to work extended 10-hour shifts, including availability on weekends or peak days.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
