Lead Pet Care Technician Stone Mountain Pet Lodge | Blaine $19-$22/hour Do you have experience working with dogs and enjoy leading others? Stone Mountain Pet Lodge is looking for a dependable, hands-on Lead Pet Care Technician to help lead our Lodging team while providing exceptional care for the pets entrusted to us. This is a working leadership position. You'll spend your day caring for pets, supporting your team, solving problems, and helping ensure our daily operations run smoothly. If you're calm under pressure, lead by example, and have a passion for animal care, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Provide outstanding care for dogs and cats, including administering medications Lead daily operations during your shift Coach and support Pet Care Assistants and Pet Care Technicians Assign work, monitor productivity, and adjust priorities throughout the day Help train new employees Ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and organized Provide excellent customer service to pet parents Transport pets using our Pet Taxi (after company approval and training) Qualifications 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license Previous professional animal care experience required Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Comfortable administering pet medications Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable with a positive attitude Available to work weekends and holidays Physical Requirements Be on your feet for most of the shift Lift up to 40 pounds and assist with larger dogs Work indoors and outdoors in all seasons Safely handle dogs of all breeds and sizes Benefits Eligible full-time employees and part-time employees working 30+ hours per week receive: Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Simple IRA with company match Employee discounts Paid training and opportunities for advancement Part-time employees Employee discount Simple IRA with company match paid training and advancement opportunities Why Stone Mountain Pet Lodge?
