Duties Provide care to animals staying with us for boarding and doggie daycare with responsibilities including feeding, bathing, exercising, socializing and monitoring of their health status. Maintain cleanliness of the kennel building as a whole, including play areas in and out, private kennel enclosures and all areas in between. Record detailed notes on animal behavior and health observations to maintain safety for staff and guests. Support client communication by updating pet owners on their animals' well-being and answering questions regarding pricing, pet care practices and daily routines. Handle animals safely using appropriate techniques to prevent injury to animals or staff during socialization. Make bookings within our reservation system accurately while communicating effectively with customers. Qualifications Previous kennel experience or animal handling background preferred, but not required. Strong dog handling skills and experience working with a variety of dogs and cats with different temperaments and needs is preferred. Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while adhering to safety protocols is required. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, co-workers and supervisors professionally is required. Willingness to learn new skills and work with a variety of personalities- animal and human is required.
