Duties Provide attentive pet sitting and daily care for dogs, including feeding, walking, and administering medication if needed Engage dogs in training activities to promote good behavior and socialization Handle dog restraint and animal handling techniques safely and compassionately Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing pet boarding areas, kennels, and grooming stations to ensure a hygienic environment Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep dogs comfortable and healthy Monitor animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress or illness and communicate observations to veterinary staff when necessary Support pet boarding operations by ensuring all animals are properly cared for during their stay Requirements Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly valued Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or kennel work demonstrates your ability to handle animals confidently Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animal restraint and behavior management techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when moving supplies or assisting with large dogs Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Knowledge of pet grooming, sanitation practices, and animal care standards is preferred Outdoor work experience is beneficial as this role involves active engagement in various weather conditions Join us if you're passionate about animal welfare and eager to contribute your skills in a lively, supportive environment.
