Job Overview Camp Bow Wow Burnsville is a fun and rewarding place to work and offers opportunities for growth. We are looking for hard-working, dog-loving people to join our team. Camp Bow Wow Burnsville is a premier Doggy Day Care and Boarding provider. We provide a fun and safe environment for dogs to play, romp, and receive lots of love and attention! We are looking for full time Camp Counselors who have a genuine love of dogs and are energetic, enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable. We care for dogs 365 days a year including Saturdays, Sundays, and every holiday. Our hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays.
General Purpose of Job:
Supervising and ensuring the safety of dogs and maintaining a clean and fun environment. At Camp Bow Wow Burnsville, we strive to create a great experience for both pet parents and their dogs. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Customer service oriented. Adhere to standards of operations, policies, and procedures. Must be detail-oriented. Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds. Monitor play yards for dogs of all sizes, and evaluate dog behavior, reactions, and interactions with other dogs to ensure a safe and fun environment. Must be able to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations. Perform dog washes, nail trims, and other basic dog grooming tasks. Understand that heavy-duty cleaning is a large portion of the job. Clean play yards, dog cabins, and all common spaces: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and scrubbing.
Pay:
$14.50 - $16.00 per hour
