About Us Justina's Pet Sitting Service is a professional, locally owned pet care company serving Prior Lake and surrounding communities. Our clients trust us with their homes and animals, so we prioritize reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail in everything we do. We are looking for someone dependable, thoughtful, and compassionate who takes pride in doing things the right way. This is not a casual dog-walking gig — it's a responsibility-driven role for someone who values structure, independence, and high standards. Job Responsibilities Provide in-home visits for dogs, cats, and small animals Walk dogs and provide exercise as instructed Feed pets, give medications, and follow detailed care instructions Observe and report changes in behavior, health, or home conditions Communicate professionally with management after visits Work independently while representing the company in clients' homes Handle early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled What We're Looking For Extremely reliable and punctual Detail-oriented and able to follow written instructions closely Caring and calm with animals Honest, responsible, and accountable Comfortable working independently Able to problem-solve and use good judgment in the field This Job Is NOT a Good Fit If You Need reminders to show up on time Prefer flexible rules or doing things your own way Get overwhelmed when schedules shift Need constant supervision to complete tasks Requirements Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Smartphone with data plan Ability to pass background check Ability to walk dogs in all weather conditions Comfortable entering clients' homes independently Pet care experience preferred (professional or personal) Schedule This is a part-time position.
Shifts may include:
Early mornings Midday visits Evenings Weekends Holidays (Exact availability will be discussed during the interview.)
