Responsibilities:

• Provide grooming services for dogs of varying breeds and sizes
• Perform bathing, brushing, and haircuts according to client specifications
• Trim nails and clean ears
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the pets during the grooming process
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
• Communicate with pet owners to understand their preferences and address any concerns

Experience:

• Minimum of 6+ months of hands on dog grooming experience
• Knowledge of different grooming techniques and styles for various breeds
• Familiarity with animal behavior and handling techniques
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for pet owners

Skills:

• Dog training: Ability to train dogs to follow grooming instructions and behave appropriately during the grooming process
• Heavy lifting: Capability to lift and handle larger pets or equipment as needed
• Animal restraint: Proficiency in safely restraining animals during grooming procedures

• Veterinary:

  Basic knowledge of veterinary care and ability to identify potential health issues in pets
• Pet care: Understanding of general pet care practices, including nutrition, exercise, and hygiene
• Customer service: Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service to pet owners
• Dog handling: Proficiency in handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments
